Our Courses

Every one of our training courses is bespoke and tailored to the needs of our client. The programmes listed below are the foundations of what we deliver, but we always agree the details of the programme and the learning outcomes together with our client in order to provide the very best training solution.

We deliver full and half day training programmes at your venue for a group of up to sixteen individuals.   
 
For front line staff we offer courses which help develop skills and confidence in dealing with emotionally challenging situations.  For managers we offer courses which help develop skills in dealing with staff care issues.
 
In addition to these we have designed and delivered bespoke short sessions for schools, colleges and local councils.

Working with Individuals who Self -Harm

Mental Health First Aid (2 days) 

At the end of our course attendees
will be able to...
  • Identify the early signs of a mental health problem in vulnerable people
  • Help protect an individual who might be at risk of harm to themselves or others
  • Feel confident in helping An individual experiencing a problem
  • Provide help and support on an emotional first aid basis

  • Guide, advise and signpost a vulnerable person towards the appropriate support

  • Help reduce the stigma of mental health problems

M anaging Suicidal Contacts

M ental Health Awareness

  • Understand the impact of Stress, Anxiety and Depression on the individual and the workplace
  • Manage mental health absence to support individuals return to the workplace

M anaging Workplace Conflict (Strategies & Resolutions)

  • Explain what Conflict at work is, who is at risk from it and the reasons for it
  • Identify the laws to manage workplace conflict
  • Empathetically manage difficult conversations with individuals in conflict

Workplace Mediation (2 days)

Effective Presentation Skills

  • Demonstrate professional presentation structure
  • Engage participants to practice gaining confidence when presenting
  • Provide tips and techniques for coping with potentially difficult questions arising during a presentation
  • Develop voice control techniques
  • Manage the different types of visual aids that can be used in a presentation
  • Identify some key do’s and don’ts for effective presentations
